Happy Monging

Today I am monging, I am doing nothing but monging. However when I have been asked today what I have been up to and I have replied “I have been monging” I get very strange looks as if I am speaking outter mongolian. So I googled ‘mong’ and this is what I came up with (hoping I will not offend anyone)

Noun. Imbecile, idiot. Offensive expression alluding to someone with Down Syndrome, being Mongoloid. Verb. To reach a drugged state where physical activity is minimal and mental faculties are incapacitated. Used frequently within the ‘ecstasy’ fuelled ‘house’ scene. Obvious relationship to the derogatory version of the noun ‘mong’. [1990s]

However if I had my own dictionary it would mean to:

relax and chill out

. So I did just that today amongst many cups of tea and a few domesticated things. It’s nice to just mong out especially when people don’t know what you are talking about. Happy Monging
